    The constitution of America states that the federalism is formulation through the Constitution's Supremacy article. The Constitution formulated from this article is the ultimate law of the land. The individual states and federal government will share the power referred to under the constitution.

    Legislation:

    Both the state and federal government are governed by the legislative laws. Congress will have all the legislative power to create laws. State and federal government has limited power to enact new laws and modify the prevailing laws.

    Judiciary:

    The state and federal courts are brought under their respective law bodies. Criminal and civil laws are pertaining to the respective courts constituted under the legislation. Courts pertain state jurisdiction will hear the civil and criminal cases pertain to state law and the same way cases pertain to federal law will hear civil and criminal cases pertain to federal law.
