1. Many of the results of the National Crime Victimization Survey are found in the Publications and Products section. There you will find the report titled Race and Hispanic Origin of Victims and Offenders. Read the summary page to review the most recent results. What group is least likely to be attacked by someone of a different race? Why do you think that the percentages are so high for perpetrators and victims being of the same race?

    White people are least likely to be attacked by someone of a different race. I think that the percentages are so high for perpetrators and victims being of the same race because people of the same race tend to live closer together. For example, in Northwest, Ohio the population is majority white, while in Southern California, the population is mainly Hispanic people.
