The National Socialist Party of America members were wearing the NSPA uniform, displaying the swastika, and distributing or displaying materials designed to incite or promote hate.

    Explanation:

In the case between the NSPA versus Village of Skokie, the court has taken that evidence of members of the National Socialist Party of America wearing the uniform and in their protest they were holding the swastika symbol placards and also distributed handbills which promoted hate.

The lower court took cognisance of this evidence and pronounces the order of prohibition of speech. The Lower courts never accepted the arguments of NSPA about their constitutional rights violation. So the lower court observed that strict action to be enforced to uphold the law.
