Compare the values of the underlined digits 6,300 and 530 with three being the underlined digit.

    In Comparing 2 underlined numbers which is 3, we need to find its place value In order to be able to find the difference of each given numbers.

    First is 6300 = > 6000 + 300 or may also say as 6 thousands + 3 hundreds

    therefore the value of underlined number is hundreds

    next, 530 = > 500 + 30 or may also say as 5 hundreds + 3 tens.

    Therefore, the value of underlined number tens.

    Thus, the difference between the 2 underlined numbers is, the first given digit falls at hundreds place and the second is in tens place.
