An electrician has 4.1 meters of wire. a. How many strips 7 10 m long can he cut? b. How much wire will he have left over?

    He can cut 5 strips that are 7/10 m long

    7/10=0.7m

    0.7*5=3.5m

    3.5m of wire will be used for cutting the 7/10 m long pieces

    b) leftover would be 0.6m

    4.1-3.5=0.6m
