I'm thinking of two numbers. Their greatest common factor is 6. Their least common multiple is 36. One of the numbers is 12. What is the other number?

    6 multiples of the number 18 we find one of

    so the answer is 18

    Because six is the gcf is 6 and their lcm is 36 you have to find what can be divided by 6 and in one of their factors be 36 so I came up with 18
