In a 45° - 45° - 90° right triangle, the length of the hypotenuse is 15. What is the length on one of the legs?

    Since 45 = 45

    then the two other sides are equal

    (15) ^2 = (side) ^2 + (side) ^2

    225 = 2 (side) ^2 divide 2 to both sides

    112.5 = (side) ^2 square root

    side = 10.6
