If 250 mg of a radioactive element decays to 180 mg in 24 hours, find the half-life of the element.

    250mg/2=125m

    180mg/24hrs=45mg/6hrs=15mg/2hrs

    125/15=8 ⅓

    8 ⅓ * 2 = 25/3 * 2=50/3 hrs
