A plane is traveling due north. The wind is blowing 30° east of north at 60 miles/hour. At what speed must the plane fly to travel 5° east of north?

    The answer is 10 Miles per hour

    I would use this proportion

    60/x 30/5

    60 times 5=300

    300 divided by 30=10

    X=10
