    36x³ - 22x² - 144x

    GCF:

    36 : 2 = 18

    18 : 2 = 9

    9 : 3 = 3

    22 : 2 = 11

    144 : 2 = 72

    72 : 2 = 36

    36 : 2 = 18

    18 : 2 = 9

    9 : 3 = 3

    2 is the GCF of all terms. We can add 24. It would not change the GCF of the polynomial.

    36x³ - 22x² - 144x + 24

    2 (18x³ - 11x² - 72x + 12)
