How do I solve 5a - (3a-7) ?

    To simplify given expression we have to multiply - 1 by every argument from parethesis and the simplify.

    5a - (3a-7) = 5a + (-1) * 3a + (-1) * (-7) = 5a-3a+7=2a+7 - its the result
