The ratio of a model car to a regular car is 1:16. The model is 6.25 inches long. What is the length of the actual car in feet and inches? what if the ratio of the model car was 2:32, then what would be the actual length of the car?

    To determine the actual length of a regular car, we just have to divide the given length by the scale factor. That is,

    actual length = (6.25 in) / (1/16) = 100 inches

    If the ratio of the model car is 2:32, the answer would still be the same considering that 2:32 can still be reduced to 1:16.
