    23x12-276 cans of sodas total, (A) 276-223=53 so12x4=48 4 cases of soda and 5 can are left (B) 53 sodas were left over (C) there were 53 cans of soda left so 12divided by 3=4cases left plus 5 additional cans so the answer is 4 cases that were left over
