    First divide 3 by 8.

    3/8=0.375

    Then multiply it by 2

    0.375*2=0.75

    Finally multiply it by 150,000

    0.75*150,000=112,500

    So the grandson receives $112,500.

    3/8 + 3/8 = 6/8 The grandson will receive 2/8 or 25% of the 150k

    so. 25 * 150,000 = $37,500
