Kari's grandmother has 1/6 pound of silver coins. She divides the coins evenly by weight, amoung her grandchildren, including Kari, what fraction of a pound of silver coins does Kari receive? A. 1/24 B. 1/10 C. 1/2 D. 2/3

    Let n = the number of grand children.

    Weight received by each grandchild = 1/6 divided by n.

    And n is going to be a whole number.

    1/6 : n

    1/6 * 1/n = 1/6n

    The only possible option is Option A, where n = 4.

    Option A is the only possible answer.
