    Let C = number of cheeseburgers sold

    There were 62 more cheeseburgers sold than hamburgers.

    C - 62 = number of hamburgers sold

    C - C-62 = 562

    2C - 62 = 562

    Then you add 562 plus 62 and it will equal ti 624

    2C = 624

    Times 624 from 2 it will be 1,248

    C = 1,248 (number of cheeseburgers sold)

    250 because 562 - 62 = 500 so 500/2 = 250
