What does 16=c + (-5) equal? And how do you get to that answer?

    You take 16 and - 5 and subtract them to get the answer which is 11

    Actually the the answer would be 21 because the positive in front of the negative 5 doesn't really matter anymore so the problem now looks like c - 5 = 16

    +5. + 5

    C=21

    -5+5 cancel out

    16+5=21
