What quantity of a 65% acid solution must be mixed with a 25% solution to produce 600 mL of a 45% solution?

    Lets say x is quantity

    65%x+25% (600-x) = 45%of 600

    .65x+.25 (600-x) =.45*600

    .65x+150-0.25x=270

    0.4x=120

    x=300ml
