Determine whether the following statement is always, sometimes, never true. Justify your reasoning.

If the scale factor of a scale drawing is greater than one, the scale drawing is larger than the actual object.

    The statement ' If the scale factor of a scale drawing is greater than one, the scale drawing is larger than the actual object.' is always true. If the scale factor of scale drawing is larger than one, the dimensions of the drawing are multiplied by that number. The only way that it would not be larger would either be if the scale factor is not larger than one or if the dimensions of the drawing are negative. However, since the dimensions of a drawing cannot be negative and the scale factor will be greater than one (in this example) the statement is always true.
