The perimeter of a square is 12x + 10 is the length of each side 3x + 4? Why or why not?

    Each side's length is not 3x + 4 because 3x + 4 would have to be added 4 times (or 3x + 4 would have to be multiplied by 4) in order to get the perimeter. However, 4 (3x+4) = 12x + 16,

    NOT 12 x + 10
