Well you'd have to think about it distance and money wise. Plan B is more effective if you travel more than 20$ worth of miles each day, as 55-35 = 20. Since plan A says that each mile is 0.25 dollars, and plan B Is only effective after 20$ worth of miles, you have to divide20 by 0.25 to get 80, so B is correct.

The answer to the question is B.

    55 - 35 = 20

    80 x 0.25 = 20

Therefore, you save money after 80 miles.
