For a rectangle the perimeter is 2 (L+w)

    where l is length

    and w is width

    if perimeter is 12 l and w have to equal 6 because 6 * 2 = 12

    answers

    (l+w)

    3,3

    2,4

    4,2

    1,5

    5,1

because you can have each number represent the length and width

    1 and 5

    2 and 4

    3 and 3

the two widths have to be the same also the length. a square can be a rectangle not the other way around that is why 3 by 3 works

and those 3 can be flipped to make 5
