    Hmm, this is kinda tough so I will use a basic problem. Let's take apples as our example. Assuming by percent you mean the percent number and not if you convert the percent to a number which will usually be a decimal less than 1 btw, then the percent number can be greater than the number easily. If I was eating 10 apples but I was really hungry and I wanted to eat 5 more. I would have eaten how much % more? I would have eaten 50 % more. This is because 50% 10 is 5. The number 50 is certainly bigger than 10 or 5. I hope I answered what you meant : - )
