    Speed = distance/time

    calculating for distance would be time times speed

    convert the speed:

    60 m/h = 60/3600 m/s = 0.0167 m/s

    apply the formula: 0.0167m/s x 2 s = 0.0334 m

    One of the items that I've carried with me in my tool-box for many years is:

    60 miles per hour = exactly 88 feet per second.

    Having that little tool turns this question into a piece-'o-cake.

    (88 feet/sec) x (2 sec) = 176 feet
