If a fraction is less than 1 what do you know about its reciprocal

    A reciprocal of a fraction is the opposite of a fraction. You get the reciprocal by switching the places of the numerator and the denominator. For example, the reciprocal of 1/2 is 2/1 (or 2).

    You have to add a 1 underneath it so it's reciprocal is 1
