How to you solve g, 2/5g = 3/5

    When you're solving for g, you have to get it by itself.

    First you would have to multiply 5 from each side. That would cancel the denominators (bottom numbers), leaving 2g = 3.

    Second, you would divide 2 from each side. That would cancel the 2, leaving the g by itself. You don't have to divide 3 from 2. It will leave a fraction.

    Answer: g = 3/2
