Y = mx + b (b) and i need to show work

    y = mx + b

    -mx - mx

    y - mx = b

    Your (b) is the y intercept. so basically (b) is the number that is in the y axis * the vertical line in the graph. (mx) is the slope. this is just an example to have it cleared up
