A high school athletic department bought 40 soccer unifors at a cost of 3,000. after soccer season, they returned some of the uniforms but only received $49 per uniform. what was the difference between what they paid for each uniform and what they got for each return?

    3000/40 = 75 per uniform is what they paid

    returned them and received 49 per uniform

    the difference is : 75 - 49 = 26 ... the difference is $ 26
