Write two different sets of parametric equations for the rectangular equation

    x = t, y = 1/t

    and

    x = 1/t, y = t

    You can see that this has a certain symmetry. Work it out by hand--if y=1/x, then xy = 1, then x = 1/y also. So if you let x = t (your parameter), or y = t, then it's simple.
