7 Katalin drove 250 miles on her vacation. She drove an average of 1.3 times faster on the second 125 miles of her trip than she did on the first 125 miles of her trip. Which expression represents the time she spent driving? Let x = her speed on the first half of the trip.

    Let x = her speed on the first half of the trip

    so, Time for first half of the trip = 125/x

    Speed for secong half = 1.3x

    Time for second half = 125/1.3x

    Total time = 125/x + 125/1.3x

    = 287.5x/1.3=221.5/x
