The 24 students in Mr. Brown's homeroom sold 72 magazine subscriptions. The 28 students in Mrs. Garcia's homeroom sold 98 magazine subscriptions. Whose homeroom sold more magazine subscriptions per student? Explain your reasoning.

    Ms. Garcia's homeroom because 28•3=84 and that means that since it said that her class sold 98 magazine subscriptions, it means that some students sold more.

    And in Mr. Brown's class 24•3=72 so each student in his class only sold 3 magazine subscriptions each and no one sold more.

    So, the answer is Ms. Garcia's Homeroom.
