Max has gone on a field trip with his class to the local museum. However, he has gotten lost. It is now time to leave, and he needs to find a bus that will take him back to his school, which is School A. In the parking lot, there are 4 buses going to School A, 4 buses going to School B, and 4 buses going to School C. Unfortunately, all the buses look alike. If Max gets on a bus at random, what is the probability that it will take him to the wrong school?

    The probability is the number of specific outcomes divided by all possible outcomes ... in this case:

    8/12=2/3
