Find the range of the function:

f (x) = x 2, for x ≠ 1.

All real numbers

y ≠ 1

y ≠ 2

y ≠ 3

    F (x) = x + 2

    when x = 1, f (1) = 1 + 2 = 3

    Therefore range for x ≠ 1 is y ≠ 3.
