Two angles complementary the measure of one is 25% the measure of the other angle what is the measure of the smaller angle

    Complementary angles sum to 90° and we are told that:

    .25x+x=90

    1.25x=90

    x=72 this is the larger angle.

    the smaller angle is

    .25 (72) = 18°
