Sandra needs 6 pieces of rope, each measuring 8 inches in length.

She is going to cut the 6 pieces from a rope that is 84 inches long.

How much rope will remain after Sandra cuts the 6 pieces?

    36inches long because 84 divided by 6 equals 14. It says how much rope is going to be left. There will be six left so 6x6=36

    Take 6 times 8 and tht will give u 48. Subtract that from 84 and you will get 48
