    Lets check by putting x = - 2

    3x^4+7x^3+3x^2-x-4=0

    3 (-2) ^4+7 (-2) ^3+3 (-2) ^2+2-4=0

    3*16-56+12-2=0

    48-56+10=

    2=0 No

    x+2 is not a factor
