The bear population increases at a rate of 2% each year. There are 1573 bears this year. Which function models the bear population?

    1573^.02t if 1573 is the original bear population

    That is 1573*1.02^n

    where n is the number of years

    so there will be about 1604 bears next year and 1573*1.02^2 = 1637 the following year.
