Only 40% of the students in a certain liberal arts college are males. if two students from this college are selected at random, what is the probability that they are of the same gender?

    P (mm) = 40/100 x 40/100 = 4/25

    p (ff) = 60/100 x 60/100 = 9 / 25

    4/25 + 9/25

    = 13/25
