    The sum supplementary angles add up to 180°

    Let one of the angle be x.

    one angle = x

    other angle = 2x - 36

    Sum of the two angles is 180

    x + 2x - 36 = 180

    Combine like terms:

    3x - 36 = 180

    Add 36 to both sides:

    3x = 216

    Divide both sides by 3:

    x = 72

    Find the 2 angles:

    one angle x = 72°

    other angle = 2x - 36 = 2 (72) - 36 = 108°

    Answer: The two angles are 72° and 108°

    Answer: 72° and 108°

    Explanation:

    Two angles are supplement = = = > They add up to 180

    one angle = x

    other angle = 2x - 36

    x + 2x - 36 = 180

    3x - 36 = 180

    3x = 216

    x = 72

    x = 72

    2x - 36 = 2 (72) - 36 = 108
