    When it is a combined inequality, it is considered an AND statement.

    -9 < 4x+3 and 4x+3 ≤ 27

    You always want to solve both at the same time so you don't forget that you have two solutions.

    -12 < 4x and 4x ≤ 24

    Now divide both sides by 4 (for both equations)
