    N+d+q=42

    n+d=q-2

    q-2+q=42

    2q=44

    q=22

    n+d=20

    5n+10d+25q=720

    n+2d+5q=144

    n+2d+110=144

    n+2d=34

    n=-d+20

    -d+20+2d=34

    d=14

    n=6

    There are 22 quarters, 14 dimes, and 6 nickles.
