The temperature at noon was 88F. By 4 p. m the temperature was 72F. Find the constant rate of change of the temperature

    The temp at noon was 88 ... by 4, the temp was 72

    this means that in 4 hrs, then temp fell by (88 - 72) = 16 degrees

    so ur constant rate of change is : - 16/4 = - 4 < = = it is negative because the temp fell ... if the temp would have risen, then it would have been positive
