=> Girls = 2x - 5

=> boys = x

Let’s find the value of X to be able to get the number of boys and girls

=> (2x - 5) + x = 40

=> 3x - 5 = 40

=> x = 15

Girls number = 2x - 5

=> 2 (15) - 5
