The total area of your neighbor's backyard is 900 ft2. she wants to use 240 ft2 more area for landscaping than for a pool. how much area will she use for the pool? the landscaping?

    L = landscaping

    P = pool

    L + P = 900

    L = P + 240

    P + 240 + P = 900

    2P = 660

    Pool = 330 sq ft

    Landscaping = 570 sq ft
