How many solutions does this equation have?

a + 3 + 2a = - 1 + 3a + 4

    1) Combine all like terms

    So that would be 3+3a=-1+3a+4

    2) Then get all of your like terms to one side

    3+3a=3+3a

    So it looks like you have 1 solution
