In springwall the town engineers have contracted for a new water storage tank. The tank is cylindrical with a base 25 ft in diameter and a height of 30 ft. One cubic foot hold about 7.5 gallons of water. About how many gallons will the new storage tank hold

    V=πr^2h

    V=π (25/2ft) ^2 (30ft)

    V=14726.21 ft^3

    14726.21ft^3*7.5gal/1ft^3=110446.62 gal
