Judy thought she spent $140 on pet accessories during the year. when she looked at all her receipts, she found she actually spent $112. what was the percent error between the actual amount she spent and her estimate

    Percent error = (incorrect amount - correct amount) / (correct amount) * 100

    percent error = (140 - 112) / (112) * 100 =

    = 28/112 * 100 = 0.25 * 100 = 25%
