What is the velocity of an object that has fallen 76 feet

    For an object being dropped, vi=0, so we have only have final velocity.

    v^2=2gs

    v=-√ (2gs), g≈-32ft/s^2, s=-76

    v=-√ (2 (-32) (-76))

    v=-√4864

    v≈ - 69.74 ft/s (to nearest hundredth of a foot per second)

    It's negative because the object is falling, or height is decreasing : P
