Yestarday isabel exercised 15 minutes longer than she exercised today. yesterday she exercised for 40 minutes. which equation can be used to find m the number of minutes Isabel exercised today?

    Let's use variables:

    Y=amount of time Isabel exercised yesterday

    T=amount of time Isabel exercised today

    We know that:

    L=40 and that L=T+15

    Substituting we can say that:

    40=T+15

    Then, subtracting 15 from both sides:

    40 (-15) = T+15 (-15)

    T=25
