    The system of equation will be solved as follows:

    5x-3y=6 ... i

    6x-4y=2 ... ii

    to solve by elimination methods, we have:

    multiplying the top equation by 6 and the bottom equation by 5 then subtract the top from the bottom we get:

    -2y=-20

    y=10

    next we multiply eqn i be 4 and eqn ii be 3 then subtract i from ii we get:

    4x=18

    x=4.5

    thus x=4.5 y=10
